Sample Tour 9 Days Dublin & Belfast
DAY 1: Depart College to airport for overnight flight to Dublin
DAY 2: Arrive Dublin. Sightseeing city overview tour including O’Connell Bridge, Old Parliament, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College, and much more. Lunch in Dublin and then tour of Guinness Storehouse.
DAY 3: Day excursion outside Dublin to include the delightful seaside village of Howth with its Viking ruins and Newgrange the ancient Irish burial chambers older than the pyramids. Return to Dublin for game with social and dinner to follow.
DAY 4: Morning and afternoon excursion through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny with its narrow winding streets and a tour of Kilkenny Castle. Some free time for shopping at the Kilkenny Craft Village and some lunch then on to Waterford for a city tour and a visit to the Waterford Crystal Center. Return to hotel in Dublin for dinner.
DAY 5: Morning free to explore Dublin. Afternoon learning service clinic. Dinner then evening Game and post-game social.
DAY 6: Morning Departure for Belfast. On arrival, tour of Belfast, its famous neighborhoods, its port and its major buildings and museums. The tour will include City Hall, Donegal Square, St Anne’s Cathedral, Queens University, Belfast Castle the Titanic Experience and Cave Hill overlooking the city. Late afternoon check in at hotel followed by dinner at hotel.
DAY 7: Depart in morning for the north shore of Ireland and Carrick Bridge, the spectacular Giant’s Causeway and the beautiful north coast. Return to Belfast via Derry and site of Bloody Sunday. Arrive in Belfast for dinner with a free evening.
DAY 8: Morning free to explore Belfast and for last minute shopping. Afternoon learning service clinic. Dinner, game and post-game social to follow clinic.
DAY 9: Depart in morning for Dublin Airport and departure to US.
Sample Tour 10 Days Dublin, Belfast & Galway
DAY 1: Travel Day. Depart the U.S. on an overnight flight to Dublin.
DAY 2: Arrive at Dublin Airport. Overview tour of Dublin including O’Connell Bridge, Old Parliament, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College, and much more. Check into hotel and rest until Game #1 in the afternoon. Return to hotel for post-game social & dinner.

DAY 7: Morning departure for the north shore of Ireland to see the amazing Giants Causeway, walk the Carrick Bridge, and take in spectacular views of the North Coast. On to Derry to visit the site of Bloody Sunday. Depart for Galway with a stop at theBellek Factory for a tour of the famous pottery, porcelain and glass producer. Arrive at the hotel in Galway for late check-in and dinner.
DAY 8: Morning tour of the vibrant seaside city of Galway including Eyer Square, Salthill Promenade, Lynch’s Castle, Galway Cathedral and the Spanish Arch. Galway is often considered the cultural center of Ireland. Afternoon departure to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren; two of Ireland’s geographical marvels. Return to Galway for dinner.
DAY 9: Morning tour of Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Afternoon service-learning coaching clinic. Game #4 in the early evening with dinner and post-game social after game.
DAY 10: Morning departure for airport to return to the US.

- August – Most popular time, especially right before the fall semester begins.
- May – Less cost and can bring seniors.
- Spring break – Can bring seniors and teams in Ireland still in season.
- Fall break – good time because freshmen are part of team and 10 days of practice. Shorter time period.
